SalesOS vs Apollo
Apollo: A contact database with sequencing and intent data, priced per seat.
How we differ. What SalesOS does differently.
- SalesOS sells no contact data and is not priced per seat; it is free to self-host.
- An agent drafts and cannot send email over MCP; people send. Approvals are enforced on the server, and an agent can never approve its own request.
- Apollo can stay a source: import saved lists and fill in fields on your own Apollo key.
Pick Apollo when
You need a large contact database first, and email-led sequencing in the same place.
Pick SalesOS when
You have your list, or your own Apollo plan, and want governed agents and your data on your servers.
What we say about Apollo comes from public sources, last checked 4 November 2026. Products change, so check theirs before you decide, and tell us if something here is out of date. Apollo is a trademark of its owner; it is named only to compare, and it does not endorse SalesOS.
This page is not a feature-by-feature scorecard. It says where SalesOS differs today and when Apollo fits you better.
Run it on a server you control.
Self-host it with your own keys, and keep the decision about what leaves with people. Pre-release: the installer brings up the upstream warmbly release until SalesOS publishes its images.
